Hinson Pumps becomes Rain for Rent in North Carolina

January 11, 2005- Bakersfield, CA- Rain for Rent, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets of Hinson Pump Rental, Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina. 

            Hinson Pump Rental, Inc, founded in 1992 by the Will Hinson Family, is one of the premier pump rental suppliers in the Southeastern United States. The company specializes in providing temporary pump rental solutions to a variety of industries. Contractors, municipalities, manufacturing facilities, mines and quarries in the Southeast have come to rely on the Hinson’s personal service.

            “The combination of our two family-owned, customer-focused businesses will provide Hinson clients with additional products and services to help them solve their liquid-handling and storage problems,” said Rain for Rent President John Lake. 

The addition of Hinson’s rental fleet and experienced staff will expand Rain for Rent’s service capacity in the Southeast. Hinson Customers will continue to receive the same excellent service they are accustomed to, and will have access to Rain for Rent’s tank, filtration, spill containment and pipeline products.

            Rain for Rent is a nationwide company based in Bakersfield, California with 50 divisions in 25 states.  Other companies operating under the Rain for Rent name include Power Prime™ Pumps and Lake Company.  Rain for Rent recently celebrated its 70^th anniversary.
